| Skiing in the Chamonix valley is without doubt some of the most challenging and
exciting skiing in the world. One of the beauties of Chamonix is the accessibility of the
off-piste terrain from the fantastic variety of efficient lifts. However this is only the start of the adventure !
As your confidence and ability improves you will soon realise that skiing with the right people in who know the right places, skiing on terrain you recently thought unreachable will be within your growing repertoire. SAFETY IS THE KEY ! Enlisting the services of a qualified
& experienced UIAGM high mountain guide
is paramount to explore these new previously hidden delights if safety is to be
maintained. Chamonix guides are some of the finest in the world and have vast in depth local knowledge built up over many years. Guides will kit you out with avalanche transceivers, harnesses and be fully equipped to ensure your safety in the event of an accident, in addition rescue services can find and expedite your recovery far quicker if directed and assisted by one of these highly skilled professionals. Ski Grands Montets's many years of year round experience in the valley has resulted in excellent relationships with the very best in this field. Ranging from a group picnic day out on the Vallee Blanche to an individual ski extreme experience on 40 or 50 degree slopes you can rest assured we can provide it for you. Cost for guiding vary according to requirements but as an indication an individual joining a group for a day out on the Vallče Blanche would cost approximately frf 350, inclusive of all safety equipment. note that your ski pass would cover the lifts. SGM would arrange for your transport first thing in the morning.
